Thassos (Θάσος)
The most northerly Greek island, Thassos is green and mountainous, with Mt Ypsario rising to 1205m. Well worth a visit.
Thassos is partially covered in pine forests and the island is famous for its marble. There are many antiquities to see and some excellent beaches. Also many fascinating villages to explore.
