The beach at Paleonissos. You have to walk across the island from Skalia to get there but it is well worth the effort.
We had the beach to ourselves all day and it was a wonderful walk. The only other person there was Themolina,
who was running the beach kantina. We met her husband, Nikolas, walking the other way
across the island to get to the school where he taught. Anybody know if they are still there? - September 1996
